About

You know the world is broken when only in Boston, out of 3.3 million people dying, 2.7 million are due to health issues. Our world has had many technological developments like ultrasound machines and cardiac stress systems, yet health issues remain at the top of the death causes list.

Problem

We have health inequity on top. Which means unequal distribution of health tools and services. There are many groups of people who don’t receive the equal treatment and access to healthcare. For example, disabled people who don’t even have the legs or sometimes eyes to do things. Those who live in countries left behind like Africa, and there are also those who live in the remote rural areas.

Second is the difficulty in appointment scheduling. Hospitals without more patients coming in are already very busy trying to manage their patients they have accepted. In addition, because of the considerations that hospitals need to make like the patient’s preferences, the severity of the patients’ condition, it is a huge challenge for them to arrange the schedules.

Third, especially in Boston, a college and a very busy city, all of the workers in healthcare section are always busy doing research, seminars, workshops, helping university students. They don’t have extra time to tend to personal consultatioins in their daily time. There are also special conditions like infectious diseases and also doctors who need to monitor the patients remotely.

Therefore, we created this app to solve all these issues, to globalize healthcare accessibility.
